Is this thing still on?

Well hello there!~ It's been quite a while. I started playing OOTP Baseball back in version 3 I think (before the current nomenclature of the game!). I got out of it for a while due to life...and stuff. You know how that goes! I saw OOTP 18 on sale on Steam so I picked it up! Time to resurrect my old Southeastern Baseball Association!

Hope you guys are all well. I see a few names still around from the old days.

Welcome back. You may remember me as 1998 Yankees, which I discontinued in favor of this persona with official permission. If not, well, maybe you haven't been around in quite a while!

Well, depending on how long you've been gone, you may have a lot of catching up to do with OOTP. I'll leave you to it with my best wishes to enjoy the game.

2002 was a great year to join the OOTP forums. Can't believe it's been over 15 years already.

Except that he forgot the [tap, tap] in front of it.

Ahh yes! I DO remember your 1998Yankees name! As well as the rest of you guys! Endgame it's good to see you still have that same profile pic. I love it!

Yes BusterKing, 2002 was a great year to join the forums. I might be remembering wrong, but didn't Markus and gang have us all on an older forums system and then migrate to these new ones in 2002? That could just be me hallucinating!

But thank you all for the warm welcome. I'll be diving in and setting up my league again. It's probably been 5 iterations since I played last. If there is anything specific that you guys think would help me get back into the swing of things (pun intended!) please feel free to let me know!

I'm pretty sure the last version I played was right before 3D representation was implemented. So I'm sure there are lots of goodies for me to get familiar with and learn.

And build up that post count while you're at it! Sometimes I do that number in one month around here.

I think we need two new stats: Quality Post Count (QPC) and Quality Post Count % (QPC%)
