Revamp of the Fish

A new time has begun in Miami in March 2017.

Frank N. Fore took over as the General Manager of the Marlins.

Immediately he received the Owner goals for the upcoming season.

After Jose Fernandez' death the most important roster pieces are Stanton, Yelich, Gordon and Realmuto in the lineup, while there isn't much too find regarding starting pitching. At least the roster has some reliable relievers. But another big problem which has to be solved in the future is the nonexistent talent in the minors.

A big problem is the money the Fish can (not) spend. The contract of franchise icon Stanton takes a toll on the budget and there are some contracts of at best mediocre players which are way too high. Time will tell what GM Fore can do to improve the staff and satisfy the owner.
