I can't figure out how to create a player from scratch.

I'd like to know how to create a player and put him into a league AND how to create a player and put him into the amateur draft.

I've read that you can do this through the Free Agent window/menu but I must be blind from playing too much OOTP!

If you're in manager mode, I don't believe that you can do it... so you're not going blind

Otherwise, you can create a player in the FA window (if he's to be a potential FA), create it in the amateur draft window, before the draft is to take place (I believe you can at least edit them) for them to be eligible for the draft, and create them on the roster screen if you want a player directly on a team's roster.

That WOULD make sense!

I guess I'll just have to start up another league since I'm in manager mode. It's my first league using the BETA rosters and I already have 2 boys and the wife's expecting! Storm VT has excellent baseball skills at 12 years old! Do your kids go into the draft automatically?

I'm shooting for 6 boys and at least two serious ballplayers! I bet the wife won't dig that too much!

Yes kids go into the draft automatically if they have skills.
