Reversion To The Mean
This game always finds a way! It gets your hopes up and then dashes them in an instant. My teams record this season:
April : 15 - 10 May : 15 - 12 June : 10 - 18 July : 5 - 14 For the first 2 months of the year, the team was top 5 in most offensive catagories, but we had ZERO pitching. We are now sitting bottom third in most catagories, except HRs, and we still have ZERO pitching. I don't know why I always get my hopes up....

Try starting off 6-15 and then going 10-2. You suddenly feel like maybe this team's actually got it and then realize you're still not over .500
|

if you don't have 7-10 high-quality players, ??? all you have is luck
... if you do, get different high-quality guys (do something different in evaluation) |
