International scouting in a World league
I have recently started a World (All nations) league, consisting of 30 teams from across the globe. My hope is to generate players from enough nations to have a world cup style tournament. 32 teams in a group stage. The initial fantasy draft worked perfectly. A lot of Chinese players, Indians, some USA, Brazil, a real world assortment.
However the problem comes with international discoveries/free agents. I have the setting on 100% from random origin. However, they all come from one nation, Afghanistan. When I set the origin to 0% from random, they all came from Zimbabwe. The first and last alphabetical teams. ![]() Any ideas how to remedy this? Alternatively, any ideas on a league structure to get my desired outcome? Thanks |

I never had this problem, but I never ever allow any "random origin". Try setting it to only selected countries, even if you select 100 and set them all at 1%.

make a bug report saying it only picks 1 country when it's set to 100% random origin + the other half... missing somethign there, lol.
looks like you have to select them manually and apply some percentages to each, as of now and apparently in '17 too.. |
