Roster carry over

Is there a way I can save my roster and carry it over to a new save whenever I decided to start one? It's very time consuming to always have to go through and edit everytime I want to do a new save. If anyone knows a way to do this please let me know

you can back-up your game under a specific name so you can restore it whenever you want. Or you can save it as a template. Or as a quickstart.
these are discussed in the on-line manual. all these choices save your entire game at a particular point, not just your rosters. So i am not certain they meet your needs, but it's all i can think of. hope some of it helps, until someone else can offer an idea that addresses your concerns exactly.

This would definitely solve all my problems by saving it as a quickstart. Thank you very much

if you don't want the same seed players, make a template during game creation -- after you've set it up of course... combed over settings etc... some things you cannot change before game creation... but you don't get a new set of players if you make it in the game (new quickstart / template etc)... (maybe quickstarts are different? doubt it though)

i make a backup after i create a game and rename it as an Archive. then i make a new bakcup -> "full backup", and that's what will be incrmentally backed up from that point on with an archive from day 1 on the side.

append something descriptive like, "- opening day 2017" or something to the bakcup -- any change in the name is good enough. you don't want the in-game backup touching it after that.
