Hiring Staff?
Is there any good coaches in free agency or international that will make a huge difference when hiring them to your team?

The only way to see their ratings would be to go into commish mode and check each one. That being said, good coaches will tend to develop better reputations over time, but it will take a few seasons to get there. I think I've done an early sweep before and I don't remember any amazing coaches at the beginning. That being said I don't think they'll make a HUGE difference, but there will be improvements if your coach is good at teaching their craft and working with the players at the level they will get to (prospects for minors, either prospects/veterans for ML depending on your age composition).

There's a bench coach named Christian Finley.. turn on commissioner mode and check for yourself. His ratings are through the roof. I usually make him a hitting coach on one of my low level teams

There's a couple Japanese guys that have crazy good ratings too but I haven't been able to grab them yet.

The only way I've been able to find good coaches is to use commish mode.
The game simply does not supply enough info in an easy to use format to make any intelligent decisions from the long lists of coaches. Malor |
