Too easy to land a job

I am a HS manager with a losing record. Am rated average. I have major league teams offering me GM/M positions....

I realize casual players want to jump into top roles. However, I would like an option that allows employment op settings to allow for a greater challenge. I know.. use house rules. Which I do. But would prefer it to be part of the game.

I noticed that too.

There's been a revamp at one point in time. I remember when I first got my first OOTP game (Version 9 or 10), when I would create a new fictional league and start unemployed and would MAYBE get ONE offer from a AA team. Since that's where I wanted to start I remember having to recreate leagues after leagues until I would finally get one offer for AA.

In 18 I started a new fictional league and started unemployed and got an offer from ALL the teams, ALL the major and ALL the minor teams. Or almost all of them at the very least. I started the game and had 86 email to sift through !

I'd like something more realistic too. I think I'm gonna scratch this league and create a relegation system and start coaching one of the teams in the lower tiers for the challenge and see where it will take me.
