Log in ??

Just installed the game and got the main screen but have to go quick and pick up my 9 year old grandson at school. : (

Quick question. I don't recall having to 'log in' with the other versions. Is that something new with OOTP or is my memory just not doing well?

It's not to log in to the game, but rather to log in to our servers so that they can track you in the new challenge mode, if that's something you want to use.

Whatever one you want. You'll have to create a new account, it's not the same as your forum account, though obviously you can use the same un and pw as for the forums if that's what you want to do.

Factually, that is incorrect as the login does not allow for a space.

There's no reason to log in if you are not using the online Challenge Mode. As has been noted, this is NOT your forum login, which can be left as "remembered" from session to session.

Is this fully up yet? I registered an account, then could only get a message that either the name or password is incorrect. So I reset the password in case I misremembered what I'd used, but still get the same.

Yep, it's up and running. I have not done anything in Challenge Mode, as you can see, but I can sign in and when logged on, I can click anywhere my name appears and it brings this page up in the browser:

Yeah, it finally worked on the 20th or 25th try. Perhaps it just hadn't gotten the new account in yet? :shrug:
