Trade Logic in OOTP18...

Started a 2017 QS as the Red Sox, first thing I wanted to do was try to trade for Anderson Espinoza since the Sox traded him last year and I wanted him back.

I select him and click "Make this work now!" The Padres will accept a trade of Espinoza for L. Cedrola, a 19 year 1star potential CF. To be sure, I created a second account as commish and went in and even SD's scout thinks the guy is a bum....

The other 3 that it suggests are legit options for the trade.

Not sure if this should be put in as a bug or what... I have trade difficulty at Very Hard and Favor Prospects.

Cedrola's not a bum by any means at all. He's very highly rated in the roster set. Maybe a bit too highly rated.

So if it's a bug, it's just a bug with our ratings of him, not with the ai.

I tweaked him a little to reduce his ratings a bit.

Yeah I meant the scouts (OSA, Bos, and SD) show his ratings as nothing special by any means, but it sounds like the game engine is treating him as if he is 4-5 star Potential...
