Suggestion: School Type When Creating Fictional Players

While creating some players for an upcoming amateur I ran into a situation where when creating a "teenager" (16-17 year old option) I was getting a player that was listed as having been in college ---- and when selecting the young (22-25 year old option) I would get a player listed as coming from high-school.

This was in OOTP 16 so perhaps it was fixed in 17 (if so, I apologize for brining this up), but I feel like the connection of age and school should be better represented.

To take things a step further, would it be possible to add two options within the create a player option of "TYPE OF SCHOOL" (High School, College, JC?) and even a "SCHOOL" option with a list of colleges to choose from? If not at this screen, perhaps make it editable within the player profile?

The latter case (of a 22 year old only saying "High School") can be handwaved as someone who never went to college, but played in non-affiliated amateur leagues for a few years.

While this does make sense - the problem with it is that with the created stats next within the player profile have the player playing games that year at the HS level. While it doesn't really have an impact, it is an odd visual.

i agree it's frustrating when I have to create a 18-22 year old player a few times to get a HSer. I like this suggestion. You can edit the specific school in the editor after he's drafted

I agree. This would be a nice option to have. As it is now, it appears as if the school level is randomized by default upon player creation, like all the other attributes that aren't given specific values.
