Not that this helps you, but I successfully pre-ordered earlier this afternoon using Pay Pal.

Yeah, there's no problem with ordering using Paypal as such, it's more likely a problem with the op's connection or something like that. Still, whatever the issue, we want to help him find a way to pre-order that works

Got it to work. I didn't put in my email twice, and it just reset the page without flagging that as the problem. Order placed!
