What leagues will you run in OOTP 18?

I'll be starting a Red Sox 2017, Red Sox 2003, fictional league set in present times, and 2017 *** league with the Ham Fighters.

My first one is going to be an experimental project so I can play with the promotion/relegation features. I'm going to start with one league of ~12 teams, expand, expand, then make it in to two leagues. I may add a third league that is a "major" who competes with the other one/two but eventually merges. The whole time I'll be in commissioner mode, simming weeks at a time. Then I'll start adding lower levels down until I have 5 or so, keeping the "major" league at no more than 20 teams.

Once it's mature and mostly stable I'll pick a team to take over and manage, or maybe start the whole thing over using what I've learned to make the second iteration better.

After a couple patches and stuff I'll do a 2017 Reds playthrough and try to fix that whole situation. Wish me luck.

They're called the Fighters, not the Ham Fighters. Nippon Ham is the company that owns them.

I'm going to continue the Padres rebuild.

Oh, and I also want to play around with the Negro Leagues a little bit, with some alternate realities where some teams merge with MLB or something. Not sure how exactly I'll make all that play out but looking forward to it.

Two leagues here: (1) Taking the 2017 Mariners to the Series and (2) Taking the 1995 Mariners and not letting go of Randy Johnson, Ken Griffey Jr. and Alex Rodriguez, and see what kind of history/future they have

I'll be continuing my MLB daily-sim, regional Heartland Baseball League, and most recent Off Topic Baseball Association online leagues. Most likely, I'll be adding a 2017 Minnesota Twins league to amuse myself between sims, and hopefully if I have time an MLB pro/reg league, because that feature looks very cool.

I will play as the Cubs from 2017 onwards and I will probably load the independent USA leagues as it is interesting to see players go to and from MLB and those leagues.

If we don't push things past their limit how do we ever know what those limits are?

I will be running The Belerian Gold League, which I have been developing for a few weeks and is set in my fictional country in the pacific.

Probably my standard 12 team English league for a bit. Maybe an MLB quickstart.

I'll definitely be trying the tournaments feature out.

My new league will be a 12 team affair too. Hopefully I will get a way to implement the tournament option into the league.

I'll probably put in an international tournament first. I do eventually intend to do a English County tournament, but that is a hell of a lot of work modding the regions file.

Aye, but it is a great idea. I was going to start a league based here in Ireland similar to your idea, but I never got around to it.

Creating the regions in the file is easy enough, but working out which cities go in which region is a time sink.

I will start with two worlds:
#1 Continental Baseball Association(Major League) ; American Baseball Association(AAA). Both have 200 plus teams.
#2 Federal Baseball League(Major League); Midwest Baseball League(AAA). Both have 200 plus teams.

I might prepare them in OOTP17 and then import them to OOTP18.
