I hate those stupid emails

PLEASE insert an option so that stupid email prompt doesn't come up. It's a GUARANTEED win streak killer. Every time I have been on a streak I get a stupid email about a prospect that I DON'T want to hear about (Whether or not I even have a scouting director which is a TOTALLY different matter) and BAM I lose. I just got an email which killed a 6 game winning streak and BAM I lost two in a row. Start winning again...BAM email kills the winstreak. It's ******ed because the game engine resets at the stoppage which the email creates and all of a sudden I'm losing. There should be an option for NO stops unless the roster is unplayable as is.

Right... You're saying that the prompts somehow cause you to lose? Just like Harold Baines's hot streaks would come to an end if anyone spoke with him? Haha- they came to an end, anyway.

My grasp on Genglish isn't so good I guess.

"Notice new emails" is supposed to mean that the game will stop if I get an email? Holy Cow.

Personally, I really love the option- I wouldn't want to miss a time-sensitive trade offer. Though I admit that I'm all about micromangement, playing many of my games in real time, anyway. I suppose it would be rather annoying to have to stop in the middle of a multiple season sim to learn that a scrub prospect was ready for AA. Though if I were simming such a great period of time, I'd probably just set control of my team to the AI- because the only reason that I would sim a long period would be for establishing a history or testing purposes.

I just really wish that you could choose not to be informed when a guy just wants to say he's interested in re-signing or your fan loyalty has increased. Those two e-mails annoy me. I leave e-mail notification on because the other e-mails are important, but I hate it when every other day in May I get an e-mail that someone wants to re-sign. I don't even need to know that, nor do I need to know my fan loyalty increased.

I was hoping this would change in v5, but I guess not. Oh well, I guess I'll live with it.

I guess it isn't. If you click it so it says "No" it won't notice them.

Last night I got an email from a guy who wanted me to resign him. Then when I went in to do that he said it was too early in the year. What a flake.

If you've got a crappy team like the one I had last night (19-62 @ All-Star Break), then you might wanna turn this off. I get 10 emails per week lol.

Yes, please. There really needs to be a checklist with all the e-mail types and an option on whether to be notified (similar to the no-hitters/milestones list you can select from).
