hmm, I would have agree with Steve that those files were marked as read-only. Almost every file I've ever copied from CD to hard drive comes across read-only.
But...you say you've already checked that, so I don't know what to tell you. Just make sure you're checking the .lg folder itself, not the OOTP folder you placed it in (sorry if that seems too basic...just trying to think of anything possible).

Yes, it was just the .lg folder that i checked. Read only was already unchecked as was archive. I placed a check in archive and had it also apply to all sub folders but no luck. I am 90 games into this season and would really hate to start over.
