Seattle/Milwaukee

Just started a 1969 Seattle Pilots franchise. Was wondering: What happens after the 1969 season?

If I don't move the Pilots, does a baseball team ever show up in Milwaukee??

If I fail as GM and don't meet my owners goals after a couple years or so, do I get fired and then does the team move?

Was wondering if anyone else had this experience.

The Pilots move to Milwaukee the day after the World Serious ends.

You can turn off automatic relocations somehow right?

Not in historicals because then it would not be historical no more.

You could still turn it off in past versions. Have not tried in 17. i did this in 15 or 16 because someone wanted the Dodgers to stay in Brooklyn or something like that. Just would have to do manual expansion after that or not have the 1977 teams and the expansion teams after that.

If you turn off league evolution in RL leagues it will prevent team moves.But also prevents RL future expasion. One will have to add teams manually.

Repeatedly (after each season) manually edit the team settings to where it's located in Seattle?

In older versions you could edit the teams.csv (or a filename similar to that) and keep the Pilots in Seattle, Expos in Montreal, and move the Yankees to Siberia. And get rid of all the stupid stadium names. I don't think that works anymore, unfortunately.

League evolution don't exist in Historical leagues. Try a Custom or Standard or Quick Start or Frictional league.

Started in 1969. It is now January 1970 still Seattle. Turn off league expansion.Will have to manually add Toronto & whomever in 1977 and COL & MIA in 1993.
Edit: This is on OOTP 17 not 18 but I doubt it has changed.
