Team Chemistry: Captain?

I just noticed on the team chemistry page that a team can have a captain. Is that something that you can name, or does that happen automatically?

The game generates personality ratings for each player. A certain combination of high scores in various traits results in a player that fits the description of "captain". He is not the "team captain" in the traditional sense. His presence on the active roster (or DL) will help the team overcome low morale. Conversely, lack of a player that fits this description can allow players with bad traits to dominate the clubhouse and bring down team morale.

Keep in mind that team record has a big effect.

if you win a ton, it simply won't matter if the team has a captain is what he means.

if you have good morale i wouldn't worry much about it... (and not trending in a negative pattern) talent is more important in all but extreme situations.

the rate of change over time is the key... if it's positive, all is well.
