Windows Crashing

FHM3 is now unstable on my computer, and seems to not want to run. Made the mistake of loading game in "trace mode" this morning and ever since I did that I have had nothing, but problems.

I was in Path to Glory, and had already finished one full season and starting year two of my career. Windows error "not responding" came up and even though I had saved regularly and often, the entire career disappeared. I have started two new careers, and can not even get to preseason. Seems to crash around August 7 or 8 every time. However I have not lost the seasons again.

Installed .65 update. Crashes every time now. Will not even move one day. Starting to get upset....especially when I had played a full season without the first crash (and the first crash when system started running tracemode took that away completely).
Path to Glory is not playable till you get the issue resolved. I will try a sandbox game, and then I suppose back to FHM2 to get my fix of Hockey!

After installing .65, are you trying to continue one of the careers you started earlier? If not, can you start an entirely new PtG and let me know if it still happens?

See my comment above your response. Tried continuation of career, and then started a new career. Crashes still are occuring.

On a bright note, sandbox mode works very well. Except when I leave the program, I get a pop up called "trace mode notepad". It has a bunch of information.

When you close the game next time, could you post the file that shows up? And after that, you can just disable trace mode.

And what do you mean with "Windows error "not responding"? Do you mean that it shows up in the upper border of the window? It only means that the game is working and it will automatically return to responsive after some time. What did you do when it showed up?

"Windows 10 program is not responding

Then the second window pops up:
The following program has stopped working FHM3. This problem is being caused because it is not working properly. Windows is checking for a solution. Windows will close and notify you if a solution is available.

And if you start with a team, will it crah before you are in the game? And does sandbox work?

I will start a thread for this topic tomorrow. We have about 2-3 people with this problen and I will setup a special version to debug it.

Sandbox works flawless. Path to Glory worked fantastic first couple of days (Tuesday till Saturday Morning).
As to sending you a trace file, how would I do that?

To get the trace log, before starting a game, go to Settings-Troubleshooting on the start screen and activate "Enable Debug Trace." When it crashes, don't immediately re-start the game (that will erase the trace file) - instead, go to your Documents/Out of the Park Developments/Franchise Hockey Manager/Debug directory and make a copy of your fhm_trace.txt file. Zip/rar it (to get the file size small enough that the forum will allow it to be posted) and attach it when you post about the crash details (it should be small enough to fit the forum size limits for uploads, if not you can email it to me directly at jeff@ootpdevelopments.com.)
