Legends/Barnstorming Idea

I'm planning on creating a team of recently retired all-stars (think players like Derek Jeter, Chipper Jones, Mike Piazza) who are roughly in their 40's and creating a series of exhibition games where they take on different minor league clubs in our universe.

Obviously, I don't want these exhibition games adding to the career statistics of the legends, nor do I want them affecting the numbers for the current minor leaguers.

Just so I get this right, I would need to:
- Unretire the desired players.
- Create a separate league for the legends team to "live" to avoid them being scheduled in any kind of regular season game.
- Set the regular season schedule to 0 games.
- Schedule exhibition games as needed.

Anything missing in this structure?

Also, I would like to keep tabs on how these 40-somethings are performing. Are the exhibition stats kept anywhere, even if they are separate from their actual career stats? And would they be kept on an annual basis?

Thanks!

That is a really cool idea! What year are you in your universe?

I am not sure you can set gp for a league to 0. You may need a second team. 1 game league. No playoff. Their 1 game stat is only for that .lg.

I think exhb games stats are only saved for one year. You would have to keep them manualy historical . I think

Shouldn't he be able to export those stats?

Unless it's changed from OOTP 15 to now, exhibition stats are not retained from year to year. I wish they were, but I bet that's like .05% of the user base.
