OOTP17.11 build 72 Waiver bug?

Hello, sorry if this was posted but I searched and didn't find any mention. I'm on build 17.11 /72 and started a new season based on major league rosters for 2016. It seems teams are waivingtoo many players and too many good player. Such that the worst teams continually cycle through players they stash on the 10 day designated for assignment list and then either add or drop. But I'm concerned since they are waiving very good players that the start of a 2016 season. This definitely doesn't seem correct. Any advice please?

I decided to look at the Braves to see if I could determine more info. It seems no player on the DFA ever drops below 8 days left and seemingly what happens is that is they cleared waivers, they go back to waivers and a fresh 10 day DFA. Also for some reason the computer is not keeping the Braves up to 25 players on the active roster and when I manually added enough and then simmed a day it pulled them back off.

I created a new season and didn't change game options and did not see the issue. Then I created another new season and set most of the options I typically do, with one exception, and still did not reproduce the issue. So it would seem on the game having the problem I hit a magic combination in the game settings to cause it. Let me know if there is any output/debug/logs I can get for you from that game to look into it. But it does NOT seem to be a common issue now.

I would like to state that I am having the same issue, although weirdly it is only for trades. When a player is traded he never gets assigned to a team. Free agency, he does.

Correction, it's waivers and trades. If someone got claimed on waivers the same problem occurs

I am having the same issue as well. Teams are waving really good players. I experimented and repeated the issue three times with 3 separate leagues. I even had the Twins waive Buxton season 1.

i noticed it on a recent trade. not sure how often it's been happening overall.

the best piece of the trade was a FA, so i looked into it. he was released the same day the trade was completed. a half step below a perennial ace starter... not some chump to be released. they kept the crappy career MiL player from the trade, lol, a borderline MLB'er.

For anyone who doesn't know, this issue is fixed by the hotfix released a few days ago.
