Font Size
I am using a desktop PC with a wall mounted 4k display. I have trouble reading all the player stats during an at bat. Is there any way to use a larger font and not lose this information. For the first few weeks I played I had my display set so high I did not even know this existed. If I need a cut off point it would be number of pitches.

When you start OOTP, click on the game settings and then change your font size. As indicated, close and restart OOTP after changing the setting.

if that causes any problems with things fitting in as they did before - maybe front office....
& if you have a non-integrated video card, you can likely set this game up to run at 1080p when you load it up, and it will revert to your 'normal' resolution afterward on its own. again, not likely useful if the font size works out... i find if i increase font size i cannot see the symbols next to longer names in rosters/transaction and something also happens to what i expect my Front office page looks like. i'm not sure how it all is scaled to 4k, may not be an issue. if worried about quality don't be. if you are far enough from your tv it won't make a difference. 4k reso is great for 60" + tv's, but an e-peen for a 20-32" tv. the human eye doesn't have a strong resolving power. think down to .1mm is average (relative to distance). |
