Amateur Draft Spreadsheet Development - Question on G/F for Pitchers and OSA vs Scout Ratings
I'm in the process of developing a spreadsheet to use for ranking prospects for the annual amateur draft. I've been playing OOTP for about 6 months and this is a area that I've not focused much on. In particular, I'm using the criteria outlined in this post http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ml#post3025127 that uses potential ratings for batters and pitchers and other intangible factors.
In the example posted, Ambermonk uses the following criteria for pitchers: PITCHING (P+6) Stuff Movement Control Stamina G/F Hold I can not seem to locate the G/F rating anywhere in the draft pool screens; the ratings are text based—e.g. NEU, FB, etc. The referenced link mentions a ratio such as 62/38. Was this in early versions of the game and subsequently removed? My other question is in reference to potential ratings. When evaluating picks for the draft, do you rely on your scout's ratings, OSA, or some combination of the two? My scout has an excellent reputation and favors ability. |
