Starting a custom league help

Just got the game game, 17, and loving it. I went to start a custom MLB league, basically adding two expansion teams. Everything went smooth and went through the draft. The problem is, the two expansion teams aren't having a schedule generated for them. No games to play at all. What setting did I miss or is this a bug??

when you expanded, did you click to generate a new schedule? you'll need to do this in the off-season or preseason or it could mess with your league.

if you added 2 teams and there are uneven # of teams in a division, the game may not be able to self generate a schedule .... it may also. (i've not done it that way, so not certain.) If it can't, there are a lot of custom made schedules here:
OOTP Mods - Schedules - OOTP Developments Forums

in that schedules folder, i can't recall where exactly, there's a description of where to put those schedules .....( in mine but i don't use the C drive for anything but programs --- D:\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 17\saved_games\schedules). they work pretty well, as i've used one or two of them in the past.

hope some of this helps and not confuses.

I don't think OOTP generates schedules with interleague play so I would recommend finding a schedule that fits your league in the link that mitchkenn provided.
