Most teams a player has been on in a season?

2016 which I circled, is 5 the most?

His journey started after he was released, he then signed a minor league contract, then got claimed off waivers 3 times.

The craziest thing to me is that he was ROY and had at least one year of a 7 WAR by 23 and was complete crap with a negative WAR afterwards.

Yea I don't know what happened to him, he played for my team (the Seattle Federals) and after that rookie of the year and 7 WAR season I signed him to a 4 year 56 mil contract and he prod ceded to provide below replacement level numbers, he just hit a brick wall with a plastic car after 24 and he was never the same again, he eventually ran out of options so he had to go.

Also the man was the 1st overall pick back in 2007...

I think a 26 year old putting up a 2.6 WAR in a strike shortened season is a bit different than this though. This guy appears to have been a strong offensive and defensive player at a younger age and a top prospect who just felt apart on both ends after one season. I mean even his offensive numbers were far above Hamelin's 147 OPS+ and he fell to below Hamelin's levels after.
