Most teams a player has been on in a season?
2016 which I circled, is 5 the most?
![]() His journey started after he was released, he then signed a minor league contract, then got claimed off waivers 3 times.

The craziest thing to me is that he was ROY and had at least one year of a 7 WAR by 23 and was complete crap with a negative WAR afterwards.

That's not crazy, it's Bob Hamelin...

I think a 26 year old putting up a 2.6 WAR in a strike shortened season is a bit different than this though. This guy appears to have been a strong offensive and defensive player at a younger age and a top prospect who just felt apart on both ends after one season. I mean even his offensive numbers were far above Hamelin's 147 OPS+ and he fell to below Hamelin's levels after.
