Historical Settings
I tried searching and can't find what I'm looking for.
That being said, I started my first historical league in ootp17 and I have a few questions about the options. (1985 Yankees. Current patches installed) 1. What options are you historical players using for league creation? I use the "base ratings on remaining peak seasons" option. My reasoning was it would create older players with ratings based on what they have left based on their real life stats, and the draft pool players would be created based on their best career seasons. Is my understanding correct? Because the results were all over the place (1 to 100 ratings). 2. Do you notice drastic ratings changes from season to season when recalc is "OFF"? I do, and its not small. It seems like recalc is happening even though the option isn't checked. I also verified that the box was not checked for "All players are displayed relative too". Also, I'm not using scouting, but just in case I ran the "recalc all ratings + run full re-scouting" option, no change. I have the league set to use the ootp player development with aging, dev and talent randomness set to default. Should I create the league using "Peak seasons"? I would rather potentials be too high vs the low stuff I'm getting now. For example, Kevin Brown is in the 1986 draft class and his potentials aren't any where near his peak seasons. Even when the ratings are ok, often the current ratings are single digits, especially when looking at pitches. There are a lot of "1's". I'm sure I just dorked up an option somewhere. Thanks in advance. |

Also, the facegen made nearly the entire league white.
