Edit 'Computer AI' strategy settings? (league w/ no coaches)

In a league without coaches, all CPU teams use the same "Computer AI" as listed in the pregame setup. However, I have found no teams are using any defensive shifts whatsoever. Where can I go to edit this "Computer AI" strategy then?

Defensive shifts are set to "Very Often" in the League Options screen but that has not resulted in any changes in-game against the CPU.

bump b/c i'm still trying to figure out how to edit these settings...
i just want the CPU to use infield shifts against me

if it is set to be used frequently, you may not be able to influence it without coaches based on what you've written. could check a team's strategy page and see what's going on there?

only places to do it that i know of... a coach's profile, team stragety stuff and the stats & ai settings for shift usage.

non-AI you can turn on GM-legacy mode in global settings to control strategy, maybe?

hmm editing the team strategy slider doesn't seem to be resulting in any shifts either...

i have many pull hitters so it's just odd, idk. i've tried editing everything you mentioned but still no shifts
