ootp17.exe has stopped working

I frequently have this problem where i will pitch or swing and it doesn't respond then gives me a "ootp17.exe has stopped working" message. Under that message it reads: "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." There is no solution! I just need help and don't want it to shut down all out of nowhere. Thanks.

Crashes are often caused by your computer. How is your HDD free space. What ram do you have and are the ram chips well seated. That happened. Have you had a BSOD** recently? Have you defragmented that drive recently? Are your drivers up to date? Consider using a utility such as CC cleaner to clean up the registry etc. After giving the computer some TLC backup your game folder and any custom folders to an external drive then uninstall the game and re-install it.

This also happens to me but in only two of 5 leagues playing online. The other 3 leagues never shut down on me, just those two. Weird!
