No money for a scout??

Ok, so I finished a season, and my scout left. So now I go to sign a scout and it says i have $0 available. How can this be? It said before the end of the season I have 9 million available for free agents? Is there any way I can get money? If I cut a high cost guy would this give me money or what?

Should be fixed in the 1st patch .

Rpmbucs, will this fix my season or will I have to make a whole new league for hte patch to correct this? Is there any way I can cheat and add money to my team in the meantime?

Not sure why it's says you have no money left to sign a coach or scout, but you can sim through the coaches/scout period and it will allow you to sign the leftovers.

this happened to me too. if you finish all days, you'll be able to sign anyone for free afterwards

can't get a good one, but oh well...

Turn off finances, sign him, and turn them back on maybe?

I'll try that later. The problem is I have no scout, pitching coach, or AA manager. And I will not take an "OK" scout or pitching coach, at least not after what happened in my previous season.

It won't let me turn off financials since I've begun my career. I really hope the patch fixes this and I can still use my career...

Chances are you will have to start a new career for this to be in effect.
