College/High School Age Wonkiness
I'm in the 3rd season (2018) of an MLB quick start. All basic settings, only change I made was erasing history (want to see who becomes record holders of all stats with modern style MLB). For some reason my eligible draft players have odd ages relative to their school. I have seen tons of 20/21 year old high school players. A handful I could understand, but it seems that most of the high school players are 20+...
Any thoughts on what's up or how I could fix it?

Check out the history of the 20 and 21 year old high school kids. I bet they have older HS stats and were not drafted in earlier drafts. They just hang around for a couple of more years. Can't do anything about that because they stay hidden (away from deletion) until the next draft. Eventually they go away.

It's probably because they're apart of the default draft classes that come with the game. In that case, their information was probably just entered incorrectly by a developer.
Once you reach 2019, you should start getting the game generated draft classes and those should all have the right ages and what not. |

my biggest complaint is that high schoolers that go undrafted or fail to sign should not be drafted the next year, but 3 years later. There are FAAAR too many 19 or 20 year old college draftees

do this at your own risk but when I got my draft pool announcement I went to the draft pool and filtered the older players and deleted them. when the draft came around I noticed that they were replaced by 18 year olds and it didn't affect the size of my pool.
