How can I control two teams?

I know it's possible to set every team to human control, and it's possible to set every team to AI control. But I want 2 teams under human control and 28 teams set to AI control. I want to be the Red Sox and the Yankees and make them both as good as possible. Can it be done?

Just create two human manager profiles and switch back and forth between them.

To be more specific, once you are in the league, click the manager name tab up top after file and game tabs. Select "other human managers" and then "add / edit managers." You'll go back to the "other human managers" to switch between the two.

Some of my favorite time playing this game was around OOTP7 when a friend of mine and I would play hotseat OOTP. We'd both manage a different team on the same saved game and just pass the laptop back and forth to make our moves. Sometimes going so far as to hook it up to the big screen and playing from the couch.
