What's the criteria for purchasing contracts from other leagues?
Ok I setup allow contracts to be purchased from other leagues for one of my independent leagues and all of my international leagues. I'm looking at the transaction log and it is working; teams in my league are purchasing contracts. However, when I try to purchase a contract from my independent league none of the players show the option when I click on available actions.
However I do see this ability for only certain international players (not all of them). So what's the rhyme and reason for being able to purchase a contract? What's the criteria everyone in question has to satisfy and is there a better way to see who I can purchase other than going one by one and clicking on "available action" for each player I like? Oh and I just checked and I have plenty of cash at hand and set the default purchase price to $50,000. Last edited by andyhdz; 04-30-2016 at 12:39 PM. |

update: ok I found the bug. If I have do not allow FAs from other leagues on my league I can only purchase contracts from players that have 0 service years in their home league. I turned it off and I could purchase anybody. This is a bug I think because purchasing contracts shouldn't be under the FA umbrella. Also teams in my league aren't affected by this and they are purchasing players without a problem only affecting the user (me). I dont want to allow any FA in my league so that's why I have the purchase/post option to limit outside FAs. I guess the workaround is to allow FAs get the player I want and turn it back off.
