Speed question

Last few days I've been unable to hit return after a strikeout or the final out of an inning etc. to quickly get to the next hitter.
I now need to wait for all of the pawns to come off the field and go into the dugout before getting the game to progress to the next half inning.
It wasn't doing this the first week of OOTP17. Could it be something inthe update?

I don't have the same problem when I test. Do you see the "hit any key to continue" text on screen?
