Q about the Preseason Prediction Report
Does the Preseason Predictions Report include injuries as it sims or does it run as if there are no injuries ?

Logic suggests injuries not included.

How could predictions that purported to take injuries into account be anything but sheer guesswork? Is there an algorithm that would have foreseen A. J. Pollock's broken arm?

swoboda, do you mean injuries that have already occured at the time the report is produced? Like if the report came out today, after knowing A.J. Pollock would miss a lot of the year, would it incorporate that information?

I can't be certain, but I think maybe y'all've misunderstood him. I thought he meant "does it account for injuries already confirmed?" IOW, say you have a guy on the 60-day scheduled to come back in July. Does it act as if he'll miss the whole season (not on the 25- or 40-man), as if he'll play the entire season (best player at a position, I guess?), or as if he'll play half a season?
