Illegal number of players on active roster?

I know this has come up before - I started a new historical game, and I made sure I had ghost players turned on. However now when I try to play my first spring training game all the AI controlled teams have 70/60 players on their spring training rosters and it throws this error. I'm not sure why the AI isn't controlling their roster properly.

I can use commish mode to just throw ten guys off every team but that is going to take time and be annoying? Any other fix?

Please upload your league files (see instructions in sticky post) and post the filename here. Probably something wrong with your league....
