3D Pawn telegraphing what's about to happen next?
Playing 3D view, pitch-by-pitch and pause after each play.
I'm noticing the pawns are telegraphing if a hit is about to happen. For example, on an 0-0 count with a man on 1st or 2nd, the defensive player at 3rd base will run to his base each time a pitch is thrown. That's fine, but I'm noticing that EVERY time that happens, a ball will indeed be hit and then thrown to 3rd. It's as of the pawn knows it's coming, every single time. If someone ends up striking out, it didn't happen during the at bat the same way it was if there ends up being a hit. I may not be describing it best, but have you guys noticed this as well? Definitely takes away the suspense of what can happen next with pretty much each play when runners are on. |

Obviously seems to be fine if I switch to one-pitch mode, but I'd much prefer pitch-by-pitch.
But yeah, definitely ruins the outcome almost each time. 3-4 pitches where the 2nd or 3rd basemen runs to his base each time. Low and behold a few seconds later and a hit which results in a play at that base. |

I don't know. I've been watching that little advance activity pretty closely for the last 15-20 minutes with pitch-by-pitch. In a couple of instances, kept seeing the 2B move toward 2B with every pitch, then zing....the hit goes through the hole between 1B and 2B on the contact pitch. While your 'precursor' may exist, I've not yet discovered it in any pattern at all.

Yeah, we were too aggressive at moving the player when no play was unfolding. I don't think he actually was telegraphing the play, but would be moving for no reason if watching pitch by pitch.
