Use save game data on Windows and Linux dual boot

I dual boot Windows 10 and Linux on my PC. I prefer to be in Linux, and OOTP does a good job with their port. Is it possible to use the same game data on Wibdows and Linux? Are the file formats the same? Anyone else do this?

Im pretty sure I have done this in previous versions and never had a problem. Been dual booting both for a while and play ootp from steam on both
