Expansion Problem

Not sure what went wrong...I simmed 2016. The day FA opened I expanded by two. I took one of the expansion teams. When I used the function I checked the box to schedule the expansion draft. Was told it would take place the next day. Progress to the next day but no expansion draft. It's there, ready to go. But when I click on Continue draft all I get is a red notice that the draft is not scheduled for today. Sim a few days ahead and nothing changes. What went wrong?

Any chance you had do not disturb checked while simming 2016, and that the actual draft was done while you were not being disturbed?

No, and both teams rosters are still empty. It just looks like it's not going to happen. Teams have submitted protection lists. I can view them all from the draft screen. Draft just will not start. Starting again from scratch. Just frustrating.

In 1961 I took over the Houston Colt 45's, and my team and the Mets didn't have an issue with the expansion draft. But, the issue I have is, I held my first amateur draft, and none of my drafted players are showing up on rosters. So I drafted Rusty Staub in round 1, signed him, and if you click on his name, it shows he's with the AAA, Oklahoma City team. But, when you look at the Rosters & Transactions screen, he's nowhere to be found. Only the guys I drafted in the expansion draft that I demoted to AAA are showing up? And since the season started, those guys have stats, but on Rusty's players card, there are no stats?

The only other funk thing that I always get tricked by is that the "League" changes on me, i.e. suddenly the league in focus is not MLB, but a Japanese league or some independent, or minor league. Sometimes, things get fixed for me when I click on the league button up top and switch it back to MLB.
