OOTP 17 GM Beta Questions

Two questions:

1) If I start a dynasty in the beta, will I be able to continue it in the final release when it comes out on the 22nd?

2) Do I need to download the new client still on the 22nd or will the beta simply update?

You'll have to download updates manually, but yeah, games will definitely be able to continue.

Just note that any roster updates won't be applied to games in progress, though
