Pre Order Bonuses lead to lost sales
I missed the pre order 5 dollar off bonus by 1 day I was going to order today. Since I missed it I am not going to order it at all, and get another game for 35 dollars or less. Boy will I be sorry OOTP17 might be great.

They did extend the pre-order offer timeframe by a week (the 1st to the 8th) but kudos on a poor attempt at getting the devs to pander to you.

Is this a joke? I sure hope so. I lucked out and grabbed it during the extended period. I can tell you that I would have gladly paid the extra five if they had not extended. It was my fault that I forgot to do it the first time through.

And now you're whining about what? That you're too slow, that you're too cheap, or that the entire world is always picking on you? Would you be happy if OOTP shoved 17 up your Steam account for free?

Now I'm going to move my league's Oswego minor league team to another location.

5 dollars...This is most likely sarcasm right? Someone's who's been supporting the game since 02 wouldn't be like this...

Thanks Westheim. No amount of therapy will get this picture out of my head now.

February was a bad month for me, and in the midst of all that was going on I saw and quickly scanned the email announcing OOTP 17. I saw the pre order ended on March 1st, and read enough that I saw if I pre ordered the game after I'd still get it early, so I put a reminder on my calendar to order it on the 5th.
I figured paying $5 extra was the least I could do, and I ordered based on my previous experience. To be honest, I haven't even looked at the new features, and really haven't thought much about the new version. That's not a reflection of anything game related, and mostly because of personal issues. After seeing this I looked and saw I still saved $5 because the presale was extended. So I guess I'm disappointed that I saved $5, and you aren't buying the game over $5. To each his own I guess, but good luck finding a better game cheaper. |

They extended it from 3/1 to 3/8 already. If you missed it, that's on you. Build a bridge and get over yourself. Also - a little LESSON for you. I got Fallout 4 back in January, and in February Bethesda announced that the season pass for DLCs would double in price from $30 to $60 since they were going to introduce way more content than expected. They said that would occur on such and such date (like 2 weeks after the announcement), so GUESS WHAT I DID? I BOUGHT IT BEFORE THE PRICE INCREASE BECAUSE I LOVE THE GAME AND I FOLLOW DEVELOPMENTS WITH GAMES I LOVE.
