Will there be pool money?

Will the draft finally mimic real life in using pool money?

Technically, the draft already uses a slot system. The user can now set their draft budget based on slot estimates. However, I'm not sure there are penalties for going over-slot (if it happens in-game at all).

He's talking about international pool money. In real life you can trade international bonus money but OOTP 16 didn't have this feature.

No, we still use the simplified system at the moment. It's on the list of things to get done eventually, but it also might be a waste of time to do a lot of work changing the system for this year, only to have them change to a completely separate system next year as well.

Right. does not draft pool money work something like this.
Every team puts in the same amount to the pool, then the higher drafting teams get more of it, the lower teams less of it.

Right now the team that drafts #1 in OOTP may have 8,000,000 in its pool, but all of that money comes from its own budget,
when in fact maybe only 5,000,000 comes from it budget, the other 3 as a bigger piece of the lower drafting teams...
At least that is how I understand the system, all pay in the same, but the pie gets split on a higher to lower draft basis
