Position Player Fatigue

I wonder if this will ever be addressed. Most position players remain at 100% rested status through an entire season with little rest. I generally have to (because of fatigue) rest players one game a month.

Why give bench players starts and at bats if the regulars are all iron men?

You can adjust the settings to make it truer to real world. And have your injuries set higher.

I have a completely different view. Unless I have durable or iron man batters I have to rest players any time they play 10 days in a row. That seems to be the default situation. Catchers are a different situation. At least you must rest your starting catcher once per week.

In my experience fatigue is well handled in-game. What type of league is this?

Edit: A team full of "iron men" suggests that a problem exists in player distribution. Such players are rare.

What happens if one or two of your "ironmen" gets injured and your bench players haven't had an AB in weeks?

There's plenty of reasons to give bench players playing time.

there is a game setting for players where you can adjust fatigue level for players and also for pitchers as well. Unfortunately I am updating almanac to point to where to find it but im sure you would find it long before my game updates

With injuries set to LOW setting, my teams STILL get bitten by the injury bug in every single dynasty i play.

Injuries and fatigue are separate issues. Playing players until they are seriously fatigued may lead to injuries but they are not the same discussion.

I have had only one player that I was able to get to play 162 games without the AI sitting him once. Even when I play out a full season, many players will get fatigued. And many of those are edited players to have very low injury ratings. The record in my EBL league for consecutive games is like 3 seasons long.

I take it back, to tell the truth. I checked the Cubs for 2015.
Their starting 1B, 3B, SS, LF, CF all played 151 or more games in 2015.

Rizzo played 160 games in 2013 and 2015 and 140 in 2014. In my league he played 160 in 2015 and 2016 and 140 in 2017.

Other positions, IRL, have platoons. I don't have those platoons, so a few other players, barring injury, play 150 or more games a season.

If you don't change any fatigue settings 3B DH and 1B positions can go all season without days off
