Praising Markus

I interviewed Markus two years ago about the idea of historical exhibitions. What I appreciate about Markus is he promises less and delivers more.

Safe to say that's not the norm in computer/video game development these days.

You should praise Matt instead. He does sooooo much stuff to keep my workload down so I can spend time on features like the historical exhibition... (and the million project-management tasks I have to care about nowadays. I miss the days of just having to code

)

I've been along since v2 - fought for Markus on usenet and purchased each and every year, even when some versions frustrated me. I just knew Markus had a passion for baseball by the way the game was progressing each version - even when I didn't care for x feature.

This last version, 16... has been the greatest sports text sim I've ever played. This includes all sports text sims. I've played OOTP 16 more than any game I own.. this includes NHL 16 which I play "almost" as much.

I was optimistic about v17 because I was thinking.. what could he possibly add to make me purchase? I'm excited about it all!
