Game crashing at All Star game

Is anybody else experiencing this?

I'm trying to sim past the All Star game on January 31 and the game crashes with the "FHM2 has stopped working", and then the "Windows is looking for a solution", before exiting out.

I haven't noticed this with my earlier seasons. Wasn't the All Star stuff just added in the last update? Maybe something to do with that?

Come on guys, I'm 2nd in the conference!

Just took a look in the Bugs thread and it appears this happened to someone else on the same date so I assume it's the same bug.

Just started with me in 2026 must be a bug. Also noticed that the facegen stooped updating the jerseys a few season ago.

Yeah those both seem to be bugs as it's been mentioned by several people now and both are happening to me now.

I'm confident it's being worked on

Any updates on a fix for this problem coming anytime soon?

I'd like to get back to playing this save and things have been pretty quiet.

Has this been fixed? I had to start a new game and for a MINOR add on doesn't work and the game froze my 4 year season was sunk. No one cares about all Star games in real life or Sim. Do we get a refund if this is not fixed and fast??

Yep this is happening to me to ...trying to sim past Sun. Jan 31st 2021. I looked in the bug thread and could not find a solution or word if it is being working on??? Anybody know?

I haven't been able to play since early December and I don't think we have a solution other than wait for a patch.

Has this game been abandoned or something lol? I mean I'm a patient man but it's getting a bit ridiculous now.

I understand it was the holiday season but surely we could at least get someone to say if it's being worked on and if there is help coming? I liked the game but now I'm afraid to play it.

I always wait( a few weeks) before downloading a new patch(just incase there are problems).

Do we know if this only affects save games from before the patch, or those started afterwards as well? For myself it only appears to have affected those I started before 2.4.30; everything afterwards has gone past the ASG with no problems.

I haven't even gone to an All-Star break with a new game since then. I'm afraid to get too into a game not knowing if it'll happen. It's quite possible that new games are unaffected. I just wish that something was done so the old game could be continued.

I wish we could get a concrete answer from someone.

I've been waiting also since early December for some solution. But right now I suspect that the only solution is to start over. Too bad after ten seasons I finally had things figured out. Just not sure if I have the will to restart and fight my way thought the myriad of little annoyances and bugs that still exist for another 10 seasons.

Not sure if the only solution is to start over though because in my game, it didn't crash during the first few seasons at the break, but only during my fourth season. So if that's random, then you would be living in fear every 'year' you're simming through the break.

Hope we hear back soon because I was really getting into this game when this happened.

I recommend turning on autosave to weekly and upload your save to the FTP once it fails again. You shouldn't have to start over. I have not run into this issue myself, but I started a new game the moment the latest update was released.

Dave, I don't think that is the answer. If I load the effected save its Dec 10th I can play to the All-Star game then it crashes. I don't see how a weekly save would change what happens. I've tried creating alternate saves to no avail.I even ran FHM trace everything started successfully. I suspect that FHM2 is FUBAR at this point.

I've become recently afflicted by this bug as well. Every attempt to sim past Jan 31, 2017 is met with a crash.

I will bump the official bug thread with this issue. It seems there are a few out there with this issue which means there are more who have issue who dont post here. I dont like to start over because im 9 years in and i dont want to!
