Shop A Player Option

I think it would be nice if, on the shop a player screen that you could ask your head scout who would be the best player, if anyone, that he would trade for.

I think this would be pretty useless for a couple reasons. One is that scouts have never been great at recommending players to draft, and if their ability was similar here this feature wouldn't be at all useful. The other is that scouts only provide their evaluations of players (which you can already see); they do not take into account financial information, which is far more important trading than drafting.

I don't agree with the assertion that the scout is bad at recommending draft picks. I may not always agree on the pick but it's usually a solid player and I've used their suggestion many times.

Corbin's suggestion is a really good one, though I'd rather ask my head scout for a top 5 list rather than just one

A small workaround on this is to set team needs before shopping a player and it will show the players that fit that need that is being offered. I use this often if I am trying to unload for prospects.
