Tournament Mode!.
I ask for this every version and will continue to do so. Please please please add a tournament mode to OOTP. OOTP gives us access to every team to ever lace up a pair of spikes. Tell me this doesn't scream tournament!!!!

Yeah I'd love the ability to pick teams from the same season or from any season in a tournament setting.

I know this is a shock, but my thoughts carry no more weight than anyone else's around here...
 FWIW, I would love to see this in the game too. It would be a lot of fun to set up a March Madness-style 64-team "best of" tournament, with injuries, scouting, development, etc. turned off and just see what happens. |

I'd be interested in this too, but in a sort of different way - what if you could play a whole season of tournaments? Like, you schedule tournaments and teams choose to go or not go to them (and some are restricted based on region or something), maybe various finishes at each one are worth a certain number of points, and that dictates the standings? Or getting to a certain round of a big enough tournament gets you a spot in an end-of-year best-of-the-best type deal? I think that would be super cool (although it's even more pie-in-the-sky than the other suggestions here).
