Text w/a ?

I have sim from 1967 to draft day July 11 & found this when looking at the drafted players. 1st time I have seen this.

Yeah, there are a few issues with displaying certain special characters like č, we're working on fixing them.

Is this a character encoding issue, where the database is collected from various sources, and game display in another encoding?

Basically, yeah. The special characters display fine in the researchers' editor. But something in the game's name code, legacy stuff from OOTP's name-handling system, breaks it, and it requires changing to get each nonstandard character handled properly.
