Story Mode Please!

I asked this a long time ago but it got buried. I would really love to see a strategy game style story mode to the game.

Basically start with $50k and build a very low level team. Pay rent to stadium, pay salaries, and make money. When you have enough saved, hire better players, upgrade to new stadium or buy a new team at a higher level. Keep going until you buy a major league team.

We also need something to use the money on once in the majors. My current team is sitting on over $700m in cash lol. Nothing to use it on... how about reclining theater seating with heated butt cushion and a LCD screen? Or maybe hire guests for 7th inning stretch?

700 mil? That seems like more of an issue with your financial settings.

No i play with a self imposed 50% handicap at 1990 financial level. Because I dont spend 50% of my allowance, I end up saving around $10-$15m per season lol. It would be 4x that amount if I played with inflation turned on... I still win the pennant about 50% of the time... id say my regular season win % is about .600 on average... Im probably going to restart again soon with a 75% handicap like I had back in OotP15...

Play online leagues. It will be much harder. What's the fun if you always win?
