Top prospect independent league to mlb issue.

I noticed since the lower A league ball started, each teams "top prospects" has changed to mostly A league pitchers. All scouts rate them as half star potential. Investigating further, almost all the pitchers were independent league prospects who were purchased by the MLB organizations. This seems to definitely seem to be an issue. They were rated "prospects" in indy leagues, purchased, but now rated the top prospects in the entire organization.

Yes, I have definitely noticed this too. I occasionally sift through the indy league prospect list to see if there's anybody I like. Every time I purchase one of these players, my "farm system ranking" goes up - sometimes several spots. The players retain their original ranking, so signing the 35th rated Atlantic League prospect is like adding the 35th rated MLB prospect. I've also noticed that some random Japanese/Korean minor league FAs sometimes also end up as highly rated prospects.

With that said, the AI transaction logic doesn't seem to overvalue these guys like the prospect rankings do. That is the only thing that matters to me, as I don't really care about league prospect rankings.

Change prospect listings to dynamic. That should fix it.

I've never even heard of dynamic. What does that do Issac? Where is that setting?

It's in the Global Settings tab, right hand side. It will update prospect rankings as the system changes and guys get worse or better.

Im about to start the playoffs in my Major League season. I switched it back from dynamic to annual. I only have 16 batters in the top 100 and out of the 84 pitchers, at least half are pitchers who were signed out of independent leagues. I downloaded the latest patch so that didn't seem to take care of the issue. Id consider this a pretty big issue.
