Best Career Outcomes..
What were some of your best career lines for real life players? The Trouts, Stantons, Kershaws, ect. --- I'm in 2028 in one of my leagues and am interested to see how some notable players careers line up with mine.

In my alternate MLB universe, now in the year 2027:
Babe Ruth made the HOF as a pitcher: 261 W, 178 L, 3.58 ERA, 240 CG, but only a 3.3 K/9. Albert Pujols is the all-time leader in games played (3714), ABs (14921), hits (4558), total bases (8141), singles (2755), doubles (885), homeruns (862), and RBI (2951). He retired in 2025. Yet, despite all of Albert's records, Frank E. Thomas holds the career record for WAR with a 161.7 mark. Mike Trout is still kicking around at 36 years old, playing with the Marlins. He's a career .261 hitter with only 264 homeruns. No MVP awards, but he did win Rookie of the Year in 2011, made the All-Star team 6 times, won 3 Silver Sluggers, and a couple of divisional playoffs MVP awards. Giancarlo Stanton retired in 2026 with one MVP award, 524 career homers, and a .257 career average. Clayton Kershaw retired in 2024 after accumulating 5 Cy Youngs, 9 All-Star appearances, and a World Series MVP. He had 304 wins, only 79 losses, and a 2.53 career ERA, with a career WAR of 93.9. Jose Fernandez is 34 and now a RP in the A's minor league system. He has 245 wins and 78 losses with 81.6 WAR in his career. Mark McGwire crushed the season homerun record in 1987 by hitting 77. Sam Horn hit 69 that year to come in second. Of all the unlikely superstars, Jack Cust had to be the longest of shots. he retired in 2021 with a career .285 batting average, 652 homeruns, and 110.1 WAR. He was inducted into the HOF in 2027. Jack McKeon holds the career wins record with 522, and David Price holds the career record for winning percentage at .842. He retired in 2020 with 171 wins and only 32 losses. John Wetteland holds the career record for saves with 520. Mariano Rivera only saved 190 games. Ralph "Lefty" Caldwell holds the career ERA Mark with 1.98 in 541 appearances. |

Puig had a pretty respectable career in my solo 2591 hits 279 HRs in 16 plus seasons. Nine Gold Gloves, 3 All star appearances, 1 Silver Slugger and one Championship series MVP. Final season 2029. His first year on HOF ballot got 7.4% of the votes. Dunno IF he would make my HOF.

Bert Blyleven won close to 400 games in my historical. Vern Fuller and Britt Burns somehow became HOFers, with over 3000 hits and 300 wins, respectively.

Oh, I did change these settings to give more random results to careers. The option to automatically import historical rookies becomes unchecked when you have no more historical rookies to import:
