Late October, 1908: Miguel Castillos were everywhere.
On October 27, 1908, the Chicago Green Sox discovered an 18-year-old Mexican pitcher named Miguel Castillo.
The very next day, the Boston Colonials unearthed a 16-year-old catcher in Cuba. His name? Miguel Castillo. How's that for weird coincidences? ![]() Also, about a week and a half earlier: As happens every off season, everybody STILL loves Gene Connor, and extends his contract, despite the fact he hasn't played in the majors since 1906, and is the proud owner of a .223 career major league BA. Truly an early-offseason rite of passage, as I mentioned in this thread: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...verywhere.html |

perhaps Miguel Castillo is like George Foreman, and named all his sons Miguel.
I've had instances of the Gene Connor syndrome (mine was with Joe Start). He clogged my transaction log for all eternity. |

Michael of Castile..... I believe it is in English if you break it down is a fairly common name in Latin America. I wish, I know I am asking a lot if we had the mother's family name like they do in real life like Castillo y Sanchez. Of course, I made this same request for Cadet Branches in CK II.
